Dear Mom, I looked

Dear Mom,

I looked to you as a mother.

You were supposed to protect me from evil,

but instead you created it.

You looked into my eyes and told me lies,

"Im clean, I'm sorry, I love you."

I want to fix you but you can't be fixed.

I'm no longer you child, the drug has replaced me.

It has taken over your body, hear and soul.

Hou could a mother chose a drug over their own child?

I will never know.
